Eye & Tissue Recovery Technician

Per Diem

This position is an intrical part of ConnectLife's mission. Must be a proactive team player dedicated to enhancing the quality of peoples lives and contributing to ongoing transplantation research. 

Responsibilities: As a member of our procurement team, Recovery Technician work on a per diem basis and use surgical techniques to recover donated tissues. These tissues get processesd and delivered to recipients who will need them for life saving transplant procedures. You will recover musculoskeletal, cardiovascular, skin and other tissues under the supervision of an Eye and Tissue Recovery Technician Team Lead. Responsibilities also include packaging at recovery and shipping post-recovery (if applicable). 

EMT’s, Medical Assistants, LPN’s, Surgical Technicians encouraged to apply!

Educational Requirements:

  • High school diploma required.
  • Associates degree or higher in Life Sciences or related field desired.
  • Must commit to a minimum of ten on call shifts in a 30 day period 

Experience:

  • Miniumum 1 year in a healthcare/medical field
  • Experience in a mortuary setting also considered relevant experience
